About the Role

The Head of Business and Information is the senior operational leadership role within the school. This role leads the systems, data, compliance and operational functions that underpin the work of the school. The successful candidate will oversee the information architecture, business operations and regulatory frameworks that ensure the school is sustainable, compliant and equipped to support highly complex student needs.

The data and compliance responsibilities are significant. With a large proportion of students funded at the Extensive adjustment level under the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD), the school relies on high-quality evidence systems, accurate reporting processes and strong audit readiness practices. This is a strategic leadership role, not an administration role. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the school’s business and operational functions within Younity’s shared services model
  • Managing relationships with Younity’s Corporate Centre across finance, HR and ICT
  • Overseeing the school’s data and information systems, including student records, enrolment and attendance data
  • Leading NCCD evidence management systems and funding documentation processes
  • Coordinating school-level funding submissions and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Ensuring audit readiness through accurate, organised and accessible records
  • Leading the performance, development and culture of administration and ESO teams
  • Partnering with the Head of School to align ESO deployment with student learning adjustments and IEP requirements
  • Maintaining current knowledge of funding frameworks, NCCD methodology and evidence standards

Classroom Teachers - Casual & Contract
May 9, 2026

CONTRACT & CASUAL TECAHERS WANTED - Primary & Secondary Generalist Teachers Welcome

The Younity School is Moreton Bay's independent special assistance middle school, currently supporting 90 students in Years 7 to 9 to re-engage in education and rediscover their love of learning.

Since opening in July 2024, we have built a reputation for inclusive, inspiring, and safe classrooms where students thrive. Demand continues to far exceed available places — and our school is growing, with expansion to Years 5 and 6 by 2028.

We are now building a panel of flexible educators — casual, part-time, and contract — who want to do more than just teach. Whether you're looking for relief shifts, a regular number of days each week, or a term-based contract, we want to hear from you.

About the role
  • Casual, part-time, and fixed-term contract positions — available throughout 2026
  • Small class sizes with high staff-to-student ratios and ESO support in every classroom
  • Deliver the Australian Curriculum in a trauma-informed, strengths-based environment
  • Clear lesson plans and program resources provided — you will be set up to succeed
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of teachers, youth workers, ESOs, and families
  • Be part of a growing school making a real difference in the Moreton Bay community

We are looking for educators who are the right fit, not just those with the right CV. You will be:

  • QCT registered (full, provisional, or Permission to Teach considered)
  • Calm, adaptable, and able to build connection with young people quickly
  • Genuinely interested in supporting students who have not thrived in mainstream settings
  • Collaborative, patient, and resilient — with a good sense of humour
  • Primary or secondary trained — both welcome
  • Must hold a valid Australian visa with work rights, or be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
How to apply

Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter (one page) telling us your registration status, the type of role you are interested in, your general availability, and what draws you to The Younity School.

Applications will be assessed on an ongoing basis
