Exceptional learning starts with extraordinary people.

Building the team that makes our school a great place to learn.

Meet our Teaching and Learning Team.

Kylie Hitz
Head of School
I am thrilled to join the team at our Burpengary Campus. At my core, I believe schools change lives when young people feel known, valued, and connected. When students feel a genuine sense of belonging, theyare far more likely to engage, grow, and succeed.
Throughout my career, I have worked across teaching, leadership, and inclusive education roles, supporting students, families, and staff to navigate challenges, celebrate successes, and achieve outcomes they may not have thought possible.
Deidre Lau
Head of Business & Information
I join The Younity School team having relocated from Sydney. My passion is in education leadsership with deep expertise in school governance, risk, compliance, policy, professional learning, and strategic improvement.
My background spans senior roles across education and leadership settings, with particular strengths in regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, policy development, quality assurance, staff capability building, and supporting schools to strengthen systems and practice. I value meaningful work, strong relationships, and environments where people, systems, and culture are prioritised.
